After the reunification of Bessarabia, in which Vladimir Herz was directly involved, the mayor of Chișinău built and gave him a mansion in the center. This architectural monument, now called the Vladimir Herz mansion, has national significance, and it is revered and preserved to this day. The Vladimir Herz City Mansion The Vladimir Herz House was built in 1903, but it was located on land owned by Iorgu Balș. Iorgu Balș ran an orphanage. It is not exactly known, but experts and amateur connoisseurs suggest that the house was designed by the well-known Austrian architect, Heinrich Philipp Lonsky. The Vladimir Herz mansion looks very elegant, with domes of an unusual shape visible on the roof. Decorative forms intricately cast, a plant ornament, and interesting, unusual figures on the facade of the building distinguish it from all others in the world. Inside, on the ceilings, you can see scenes from mythological storylines. The ordinary resident of Chișinău sees the Vladimir Herz mansion as a single house, but a discerning eye or any specialist in architecture will notice changes. The building is connected in the middle by the Kligman house, which reflects neoclassicism in all its glory.
