In the village of Vălenii, for more than ten years now, there has been a remarkable museum. A place where the hospitable hostess Vera Kaminski tells about the traditions associated with ritual colaci, shows what they look like and how they differ. Pensiunea La gura cuptorului
The main "exhibits" of the museum are 12 types of colaci for weddings. In addition, the museum has many objects that were used by ancestors in crafts or agriculture.
There are also hand-embroidered tablecloths, woollen carpets, dishes and much more. Vera also runs bread-baking workshops and treats all guests to a delicious colac and herbal tea with honey. The guesthouse La Gura Cuptorului, located at the Bread Museum, can comfortably accommodate up to seven people overnight.
Madam Vera also offers guests hiking routes to diversify their rest.
Madam Vera plans to finish a separate studio with an oven, where she could organise bread-baking workshops. With twenty years of baking experience, the charismatic and cheerful Vera has a lot to teach!
