On the territory of the Local History Museum, a Vivarium has been opened - a corner of living nature. In the closed premises of the Vivarium: reptiles, budgerigars, Bessarabian pigeons, cockatoos, fish. And in the fresh air, a mini-botanic garden and a mini-zoo. By the way, this botanical garden is the very first one founded in our city. The trees were planted by Alexander Bernardazzi himself. The garden is inhabited by swans, mandarin ducks, drakes, ostriches, peacocks, falcons, pigeons. In total, the garden's collection has over 130 species of plants and over 60 species of animals, reptiles, and birds.
