The Stefan the Great Monument is the main landmark of Chisinau, impossible to imagine the Moldovan capital without it. The bronze figure of the ruler, cast from a 1475 miniature, stands at the park entrance where the city's main streets meet — there's no easier spot to find for a meetup. It's especially beautiful in the evening when the lights come on and the whole city strolls through the adjacent park.
