Besides the Camenca River, the Ключи Бутешть monument hides caves about 20 million years old. The natural geological formations "Ключи Бутешть" are located in the Glodeni district, as is the whole basin of the Prut Mic, which was formed 15-20 million years ago in the warm tropical waters of the Sarmatian Sea. The unique places of Ключи Бутешть are rich in small streams, which carved a picturesque canyon in the limestone reefs. It was in Ключи Бутешть that a natural cave formed, where ancient people lived since time immemorial (300 thousand years ago). There is a legend - the brother of the King of Lithuania, Svidrigailo, hid in the caves of these rocks from spies and claimants to the throne.
He was found by a young girl who was tending sheep near the rock and took him in together with her father, thus saving him from enemy forces. The spies spent the night in the house of these same kind people. On the second day the house burned down and everyone survived except Svidrigailo's enemies. Saved and happy, he returned to his homeland, but did not forget the heroic deed of ordinary people. The girl was eventually invited to the Royal Court, and her father became, by the standards of the time, the richest sheep owner.
