Călărășăuca Monastery is a women's Orthodox monastery and landmark in the Soroca district, tucked into a ravine among cliffs and forest on the Dniester riverbank. The grounds include several churches, three sacred springs, a fish pond, and maintained forest trails leading to a bathing pool and waterfall. Plan a half-day visit: explore the cave hermitage with its giant hilltop cross, fill up water from the springs, and simply breathe in the total silence.
