Монастырь Вэрзэрешть

One of the oldest places of prayer retreat, located between the Dniester and Prut rivers, is the Vărzărești Monastery, whose founder was the boyar Stan Vărzar. This is mentioned in one of the decrees of Alexander Voivode (April 1399 - January 1432), dated April 25, 1420.
