About this place

The Museum of Moldova State University in Chisinau is a natural history museum housing over 10,000 exhibits. The crown jewel is the world's only two-day-old sperm whale calf, alongside an adult whale jaw and vertebrae from a 28-meter blue whale — each with a story told personally by 91-year-old director Stanislav Danilovici, who has dedicated 40 years to this place. Perfect for both young children and adults — no one leaves here unmoved.
