The Pădurea Domnească nature reserve is located 185 kilometres from Chișinău. Locals have nicknamed this place the "Land of Herons", because herons nest in the trees. Here, in the natural environment, you can observe majestic European bison and noble deer. According to 2020 data, "Pădurea Domnească" is the most visited reserve in Moldova.
