The wooden church of "Saint Nicholas" in the village of Gorodiște, Calarasi district, is a monument of state architecture in the Republic of Moldova.
The site is dated to 1797 and is located in the center of the village, entirely built of oak wood, covered with shingles. The church was renovated only once, when they changed its stone foundation. It also has a collection of old icons, some of the oldest in the country, written on wood and canvas, which, according to local residents, date back to the time of the church's construction.
