✍️About this place
The great lord had a tradition or rather a custom - in the places where he rested, he would then build a church or a temple. Stephen the Great's oak still stands there, amazing the looks. Stephen the Great's oak is impossible to embrace, its sprawling crown covers many meters around, Stephen the Great's oak has grown simply gigantic.
Naturally, the state protects such a monument of nature. Stephen the Great's oak is under reliable protection and will live for many and many more years. To this day, if you look at it, it's clear that the King rested here! Its twisted, gnarled, but full of life branches, a powerful trunk and delicate, green leaves. However, ruthless time tried very hard to destroy the tree, parasite beetles ate it, from abundant rains it began to rot, but people carefully cared for it and saved the tree. It was near this oak that Stephen the Great ordered the construction of a church, which has no equal in Moldova. And it too has been preserved to this day, having lived about 800 years.
It was in the distant year 1456
